Amazon Feature: Overview, Setup, and Best Practices
Last updated: August 28, 2025
The Amazon feature in Superfiliate allows brands to leverage Amazon Attribution to track and reward creators for driving traffic and sales through Amazon links. This tool provides performance insights and streamlined link management, making it easier to connect your affiliate programs to Amazon’s marketplace.
1. Accessing the Feature
Once the Amazon feature is enabled for your account, you’ll find it under Channels → Amazon in the main menu.
Inside the Amazon section, there are two key modules:
Insights — Track overall channel performance, top creators, and top-performing products.
Creators — Manage creators, create and assign Amazon Attribution links, and control commission settings.
2. How It Works
The feature uses Amazon Attribution to generate trackable Amazon links for creators, allowing you to monitor clicks, visits, and purchases directly from your Superfiliate dashboard.
Important: Creators must already be part of a Program in Superfiliate before receiving Amazon links. Make sure your Program settings are complete, including commission structure, payment terms, and creator assignments.
3. Creating Amazon Attribution Links
To create links:
Go to the Creators module in the Amazon channel.
Click Create Link.
Paste your Amazon URL — options include:
Storefront link for your brand (all products).
Collection page (specific product set).
Note: linking to a creator’s storefront on Amazon is not supported.
Name the link for easy identification in reports (e.g., Stanley Cup Campaign).
Select creators — one or multiple (bulk selection and filtering are supported).
Set commission tracking — purchases from this link will follow the same commission rules of the Program the creator belongs.
Create the link — once created, the link will be available in the dashboard for manual sharing with creators. (Note: the platform does not currently send automated emails to creators with their link.)
4. Tracking and Reporting
Under the Insights tab, you can monitor:
Channel performance metrics (clicks, conversions, revenue).
Top creators driving Amazon sales.
Top products purchased via affiliate links.
This data helps you identify high-performing creators and optimize your campaigns.
5. Limitations of Amazon Attribution
When using Amazon Attribution within Superfiliate, keep in mind the following constraints from Amazon’s reporting system:
Click data delay: Click metrics can take up to 24 hours to appear in reports.
Conversion data delay: Purchase/conversion metrics can take up to 48 hours to be reflected.
Minimum click threshold: If a link receives fewer than 10 clicks in a day, Amazon will not report results for that day — metrics will appear as zero.
Note: These limitations are defined by Amazon and apply to all partners using Amazon Attribution.
6. Best Practices
Always ensure your creators are properly added to Programs before generating Amazon links.
Use clear, campaign-specific names for links to simplify reporting.
Share links promptly with creators and provide context or promotional materials to help them market effectively.
Run test campaigns before going live to validate tracking and avoid potential issues.
Review Insights regularly to identify growth opportunities and reward top performers.
The Amazon feature is currently in beta. We’re actively collecting feedback from customers to refine and enhance functionality. If you have suggestions or ideas, please share them with the Superfiliate team.
