Setting Up Email Flows in Klaviyo

Once you've integrated Klaviyo as your email provider in Superfiliate, it's time to build email flows and campaigns to help automate the communications with your Superfiliates in the program.

Below, we have a video highlighting best practices and the main differences between each of the recommended flows in Klaviyo

Superfiliate Enrolled

This flow welcomes users to the program once they have either:

a) been added to the program (Creator) or

b) have joined the program (Referral & Loyalty).

  • Create a “Superfiliate Enrolled” segment with the logic “Sf_enrolled” (Properties about someone) is “True"

  • Use the “Superfiliate Enrolled” segment as the initial trigger for the flow

  • We recommend a series of 2-3 educational emails over the course of the first 7-10 days after joining the program. Their first few days in the program are crucial and set the tone for how they incorporate being a member into their routine, making sure they have all the information they need sets them up for success

Superfiliate Conversion

This flow sends an email when someone has made a purchase via the Superfiliate’s individual link or code

  • Use the “Superfiliate Campaign Conversion” metric as the initial trigger for the flow

  • This provides positive reinforcement for your Superfiliates and encourages them to keep up the great work

Superfiliate Reactivation

This flow sends an email when someone has hit a specific “reactivation point” within their customer journey. These reactivation points include “after_delivery,” “before_charge,” “after_cashback_given,” and more!

  • Use the “Superfiliate Campaign Reactivation” metric as the initial trigger for the flow and a Conditional Split or a Trigger Filter to ensure the correct people receive communications

  • It's important to regularly engage your program members and keep your partnership top of mind

Superfiliate Gift Unlocked

This flow sends an email when someone has unlocked a gift!

  • Use the “Superfiliate Gift Unlocked” metric as the initial trigger for the flow

  • Everyone likes to be reminded when they've done a good job and have something fun waiting for them

Pro-Tip: We highly recommend including reminders about the program in your post-purchase and/or welcome flows (while filtering out your currently enrolled Superfiliates).

Post-Purchase Flow

We recommend using emails similar to those used in your Email Campaigns about the program -- ensuring they include details like program incentives and how to join!
