Talent Managers – How to link a manager and set the primary email recipient

Last updated: September 17, 2026

Overview

Talent Managers let you link a manager (for example, a talent manager or agent) to a creator and choose which email address is used as the primary recipient for that creator's communications. The primary recipient controls where the creator's Inbox replies and Bulk Emails are delivered.

Use this feature when

  • A creator is represented by a manager who should receive some or all of their communications.

  • You want emails for a creator to go to a manager's address instead of the creator's own.

  • A manager wants a dedicated address for a specific creator, separate from both the creator's and the manager's usual email.

Link a manager and set the primary email recipient

  1. Open the creator's profile and go to the Management section.

  2. Add or select a manager. In the Create manager modal, enter the manager's name and email.

  3. Choose the primary email recipient. There are three options:

    • Creator's email — the creator's own address (default).

    • Manager's email — the manager's address.

    • Custom email — a new address you specify. Use this when the primary email should be neither the creator's nor the manager's own address — for example, when a manager sets up a dedicated inbox for this creator.

  4. Save.

What changes in the Inbox

  • New messages and replies sent to this creator go to the primary email recipient you selected.

  • Incoming messages from that address are threaded into the creator's conversation.

What changes in Bulk Emails

  • Bulk email sends that include this creator are delivered to the primary email recipient rather than automatically to the creator's own address.

FAQ

What happens if I remove the manager?

The primary recipient returns to the creator's own email, and future messages are delivered there.

Does changing the primary recipient affect messages already sent?

No. It only changes where future Inbox and Bulk Email messages are delivered.

Can the manager and creator both receive messages?

Delivery follows the single primary recipient you select. Choose the address that should receive the creator's communications.
