Conditional Split: Available Conditions

Last updated: October 29, 2026

A Conditional Split sends each creator down a Yes or No path depending on whether they match the conditions you set. Use it to personalize a flow, for example to send a reminder only to creators who haven't replied, or to reward only creators who made sales.

How it works

  • Add a Conditional Split step anywhere in your automation.

  • Build one or more conditions and combine them with AND / OR.

  • Creators who match go down the Yes path; everyone else goes down the No path.

  • Each path needs at least one step after it. A split with no steps on either side can't be saved.

Types of conditions

Creator properties

Information about the creator at the moment they reach the split, such as their program, tags, follower count, Partnership Ads status or Partnership DM eligibility.

Trigger properties

Information about the event that started the automation, such as the SuperBrief, the Creators List, the gifting campaign or the status that fired the trigger.

Activity in a period

These conditions count something the creator did during a period you choose (for example "in the last 7 days"):

Condition

What it counts

Referrals

Conversions the creator generated

Orders

Orders the creator placed

Mentions

Times the creator mentioned your brand on Instagram

Instagram messages

Instagram DMs exchanged with the creator

Portal access

Times the creator logged in to their creator portal

Email replied

Whether the creator replied to an email from this automation

Email clicked

Whether the creator clicked a link in an email from this automation

There is no "email opened" condition. Use Email clicked or Email replied to measure engagement.

Add a Time Delay before an activity condition. If the split runs immediately after the email is sent, the creator hasn't had time to reply or click yet. For example: Send Email → Time Delay (3 days) → Conditional Split "Email replied".

Example: nudge creators who haven't replied

  1. Trigger: Creator Added (SuperBrief)

  2. Action: Send Email with the brief details

  3. Time Delay: 3 days

  4. Conditional Split: Email replied

  5. No path: Send a follow-up email

Conditional Split vs. A/B Test

A Conditional Split routes creators based on who they are or what they did. An A/B Test splits creators randomly by percentage, so you can compare two versions of a message.
