Step-by-step
Starting a new bulk email
Go to Email → Bulk email.
Click New email.
If you have an unfinished draft, you will be asked to Continue with it or Start new email (which discards the autosaved draft).
Step 1 — To (Select recipients)
Choose recipients from your existing programs, or import a new contact list.
Use the table to select individual creators or select all.
The bottom bar shows the total number of selected contacts.
Click Next to proceed.
Note: You must select at least one recipient. The maximum is 1,000 contacts.
Step 2 — Message (Compose)
From: Select a sender identity.
If you have connected Gmail accounts, choose one from the dropdown. The sender name and reply-to address auto-fill.
Alternatively, select Custom email to enter a custom sender name, from address, and an optional reply-to address.Subject: Enter the email subject line.
Body: Compose your email using the rich text editor. You can:
Insert dynamic variables (e.g., first name, portal link) via the variables toolbar.
Use Templates — load a previously saved template or start from scratch.
Save as template — save the current subject + body for future use.
Embed inline images.Signature: the email appends the default signature of the connected inbox you're sending from; if no connected inbox matches the sender, the shop-wide signature (Add/Edit signature modal) is used. Configure per-inbox signatures in Settings → Signature.
Attachments: Click Attach files to upload files (up to 20 MB).
Click Next to proceed.
Tip: If the "From" email address isn't connected to your inbox, a warning will remind you that replies won't appear in Superfiliate. It's recommended to use a Gmail-connected address.
Step 3 — Preview
Review how each email will look for individual recipients.
Use the contact list on the right to switch between recipients and verify that variables (e.g., first name) are correctly resolved.
Check the "From" address and signature at the top.
Attachments are displayed below the email body.
Click Next to proceed.
Step 4 — Send date
Choose when the email should be sent:
Send now — the email is sent immediately.
Schedule for later — pick a date and time. Scheduling uses your store's timezone.Click Send to confirm.
A success notification confirms the email has been sent or scheduled.
Saving a draft
At any point during the wizard, you can click Save draft in the top-right corner.
Drafts are saved with all current data: recipients, subject, body, attachments, and scheduled send time.
If you navigate away from an unsaved email, a modal asks you to Save draft or Discard changes.
To resume a draft, go to Communications → Bulk email → Drafts, find the draft, and click on it (or choose Edit from the three-dot menu).
Managing sent and scheduled emails
Go to Email → Bulk email to see all emails.
The table shows: Status, Subject, Send date, Sent to (programs or audience), and Creators count.
Statuses include: Sent, Sending, Scheduled, Cancelled, and Importing list (when contacts are still being processed).Click on any row to view the email detail page with the full preview and performance metrics.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q1. Can I edit an email after it has been sent?
A. No. Once an email is sent, it cannot be edited or recalled. You can cancel a scheduled email before it is sent.
Q2. What are dynamic variables?
A. Variables like {{ creator_first_name }} or {{ creator_portal_link }} are placeholders that get replaced with each recipient's actual data when the email is sent. You can insert them from the variables toolbar in the Message step.
Q3. What happens if I exceed 1,000 recipients?
A. The Send/Next button will be disabled. You need to reduce the number of selected contacts to 1,000 or fewer.
Q4. Can I reuse the same email template for multiple sends?
A. Yes. Save your subject and body as a template during the Message step, then load it from the Templates button in any future email.
Q5. What happens if my contact list is still importing when I click Send?
A. A warning modal appears. You can choose to Send anyway (emails are sent as contacts are imported) or Save as draft and wait for the import to complete first.
