Understanding Insights in Superfiliate
Last updated: October 29, 2026
The Insights page gives you an overview of your creator program's performance, helping you track attributed revenue, conversions, social media engagement, traffic, commissions, and payouts.
To get started, navigate to Insights in your Superfiliate dashboard.
1. Customize Your Insights
You can adjust your dashboard to focus on the data that matters most to your brand.
Period: Select the date range you want to analyze.
Compared to: Compare performance against a previous or custom period.
Group by: View trends by day, week, month, or quarter.
Filters: Narrow your results by program, creator, conversion state, product, platform, and other available options.
Break down by: Split supported metrics into categories for a more detailed comparison.
Note: Not all filters apply to every metric. Check Filtered by and Not available on each card to confirm which filters are being used.
2. Program Overview
Monitor your affiliate program's sales performance and activity.
Metric | Description |
|---|---|
Revenue | Total attributed revenue from eligible conversions in the selected report scope. |
Conversions | Number of attributed conversions. |
Referral AOV | Average order value from attributed conversions. |
Cancelled & Refunded Revenue | Value of eligible cancellations and refunds. |
Enrolled | New program enrollments during the selected period. |
Engaged | Program enrollments with at least one qualifying conversion processed during the period. |
Conversion Rate | Approved conversions divided by tracked referral link clicks, when available. |
Important: Attributed revenue does not necessarily represent approved commissions or net Shopify revenue.
3. Social Media Performance
Understand how your creators' content performs across supported social platforms.
Metric | Description |
|---|---|
Mentions | Number of captured posts mentioning or tagging your brand. |
Views | Total views recorded or estimated for captured content. |
Reach | Estimated audience reach based on views or impressions. |
Engagements | Total likes and comments. |
EMV | Estimated Earned Media Value based on views or impressions and configured CPM rates. |
You can manage EMV calculations under Settings → Earned Media Value.
Social metrics depend on platform integrations and data availability. Some figures may be estimates rather than directly reported platform data.
4. Traffic
Track visits generated through your creators' referral links.
Clicks: Tracked referral link visits, with repeated visits deduplicated within a 30-minute window.
Unique Clicks: Distinct browser identifiers recorded during the selected period.
Unique clicks do not necessarily represent individual people, since someone using multiple devices or browsers may be counted more than once.
When available, the Traffic tab provides additional traffic analysis.
5. Earnings & Payouts
Monitor the financial activity associated with your creator partnerships.
Commissions: Commissions credited to creators from qualifying conversions.
Payouts: Payments successfully completed.
CAC: Eligible acquisition costs divided by unique new referred customers, when available.
ROAS: Attributed revenue divided by eligible recorded costs, when available.
Commissions and payouts may differ because earnings can be credited in one period and paid in another.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why doesn't Revenue match my Shopify sales?
Insights tracks attributed conversions rather than all Shopify orders. Differences in filters, conversion statuses, dates, and included amounts can affect totals.
Why aren't my commissions equal to my revenue?
Revenue and commissions represent different metrics. Commission eligibility, program rules, and processing periods can create differences.
Why isn't a filter changing my results?
Some filters are only compatible with specific metrics. Check the Filtered by and Not available indicators.
Why are my social metrics different from Instagram or TikTok?
Data availability, tracking methods, estimates, and platform reporting differences can affect results.
Why did historical metrics change?
Order statuses, refunds, social engagement, and EMV calculations may be updated after the original reporting period.
Tip: For accurate comparisons, always confirm your selected period, active filters, and metric definitions. Insights helps you identify trends, while Reporting provides more detailed conversion-level information.
