In Superfiliate, you can create temporary promotions to offer enhanced discounts or benefits to customers and affiliates. Promotions are commonly used during sales events, product launches, holidays, or any moment when the brand wants to boost performance.

Currently, Superfiliate supports three types of promotions:

Promotion Types

1. Higher Discount

Boost sales, attract new customers, and create excitement with increased discounts during a specific period.

2. Buy X, Get Y (BXGY)

Encourage higher spending, increase AOV, and offer customers a free or discounted product when they buy a specific item.

3. Product Discount

Reward customers when they reach a spending threshold. Perfect for driving larger cart sizes and rewarding loyal shoppers.

How to Create a Promotion

Promotions are now created from a Reward Group, not from a program. A promotion applies to the reward group it belongs to, so it affects every program using that group while it's active.

To set up a promotion:

1. Navigate to the Reward Group where you want to create the promotion (open Reward Groups from the sidebar).

2. Open the Promotion tab.

3. Click Create Promotion and select the promotion type.

The form is pre-filled with the reward group's current configuration and follow the same steps (See 📄 How to configure a Program Reward Group) — you then adjust the promotion-specific values below. If the reward group is shared by more than one program, you'll see a warning that the promotion will apply to all of them.

Step 1: Name & Schedule

• Enter a promotion name.

• Select the start and end date and time.

Step 2: Set the Reward for Referred Customers

Depending on the promotion type, you can configure:

• A higher discount only
  or

• A gift product, required for:

  • Buy X, Get Y

  • Product discount

When setting up this step:

• Define the Discount amount the customer will receive.

  • If the promotion is purely a gift (no discount), you can set this to $0.

• Select the product(s) you want to offer as the gift option.

• Configure any additional reward rules. All about program settings here.

Step 3: Set Superfiliate Reward

Configure how much commission affiliates will earn during the promotion period.
This ensures affiliates are motivated and rewarded accordingly while the promotion is active.

Final Step

Click Create Campaign to finalize the promotion.

Your promotion will activate automatically at the scheduled time and follow all rules you configured to all programs in the Reward Group.
