Providing Email-Only Access to Superfiliate

Last updated: August 24, 2026

Most people reach Superfiliate through the Shopify admin. That works fine if you only ever work on one store — but it ties your access to that single Shopify store.

An email login is a Superfiliate account in your own name. You sign in at auth.superfiliate.com/sign-in with your email address, independent of Shopify.

When you want one

You work across more than one brand or store. Regional stores (US / CA / UK), a house of brands, or an agency running several clients. An email login is the only way to hold access to several brands at once and switch between them without logging out.

You don't have — or shouldn't have — Shopify Apps access. Freelancers, contractors, media buyers, and agency staff often need Superfiliate but have no business in the Shopify admin. Apps access in Shopify is broad; an email invite to Superfiliate is not.

Your work never touches Shopify. If you live in the Meta, TikTok, or YouTube side of Superfiliate, routing through the Shopify admin every morning is a detour with no purpose.

You're connecting the Superfiliate MCP to more than one store. A Shopify sign-in can only ever authorize the single store it came from. See Connecting to the MCP for the details.

How it works

Each brand on Superfiliate is its own workspace. Your email address gets invited into a brand's workspace, and from then on your login carries the list of brands you belong to.

  • One login, many brands. Sign in once; if you belong to more than one brand, you pick which to open, and switch whenever you like.

  • Access is per brand. Being invited to Brand A gives you nothing on Brand B. To reach three brands, your email needs to be invited on all three — by someone who can invite users on each.

  • Access stays live. Gain or lose access to a brand later and everything that depends on it follows along automatically. Nothing to redo.

Getting set up (if you're being invited)

  1. Ask someone who already uses Superfiliate for that brand to open Settings → Users and invite your email address.

  2. Check your inbox and complete the account setup from the invitation email.

  3. From then on, sign in at auth.superfiliate.com/sign-in — not through the Shopify admin.

If you need more than one brand: repeat step 1 with each brand. Same email address every time — that's what links them into a single login. Once you belong to two or more, signing in shows you a brand picker instead of dropping you straight into a dashboard.

⚠️ Step 3 is the one people skip. Having an email login doesn't help if you keep entering through Shopify. Opening Superfiliate from the Shopify admin gives you a session scoped to that one store, regardless of how many brands your email can reach — no brand switcher. Bookmark the sign-in link.

Inviting someone (if you're the admin)

Navigate to Settings in the bottom left and click Users. Enter their email address and click Invite — they'll get an email to complete their setup.

The Users table shows everyone on the account with their Authentication MethodShopify for people coming in through the Shopify admin, Email for email logins, and (Pending invite) for invitations not yet accepted.

Some quick callouts:

  • Invite the address they'll actually sign in with. Aliases and forwarding addresses cause problems later.

  • Once invited, you can't remove a user from your account yourself, so be careful about who you invite. Contact hello@superfiliate.com to request a removal — it may take several business days.

Inviting yourself

If you already run several brands through Shopify, you don't need to wait on anyone — you can invite yourself.

That feels odd at first: you already have access to all of them. But what you have is several separate Shopify logins, each one only aware of its own store. Inviting your own email address on each brand is what turns them into one Superfiliate login that knows about all of them at once.

Open each brand the way you do today, through the Shopify admin, and invite your own email address from Settings → Users. Complete the setup from the first invitation email — the rest attach themselves to the same login. From then on, sign in at auth.superfiliate.com/sign-in and pick your brand.

You keep your Shopify access exactly as it is — this adds a second, more capable way in, it doesn't replace or disturb the first.
