Troubleshooting: Unable to Remove an Affiliate

Last updated: June 10, 2026

If you're unable to remove an affiliate from your program, it's likely because the affiliate has existing conversions associated with their account.

Why Can't I Remove This Affiliate?

To preserve attribution and reporting accuracy, affiliates who have generated conversions cannot be completely removed from a program.

Removing an affiliate with historical conversions could impact commission records, reporting, and attribution data.

How to Prevent an Affiliate From Participating

If you no longer want an affiliate to participate in your program, you can ban them instead.

To do this:

  1. Navigate to the affiliate's profile.

  2. Open the affiliate actions menu.

  3. Select Ban Affiliate.

Once banned:

  • The affiliate will no longer be able to participate in the program.

  • Their referral links and discount codes will no longer be active.

  • Historical conversions and reporting data will remain intact.

Can a Banned Affiliate Be Reinstated?

Yes.

If you'd like to restore access for a previously banned affiliate, simply reach out to the Support team and provide the affiliate's email address.

Our team can unban the affiliate and restore their access to the program.

When Can an Affiliate Be Removed?

Affiliates can only be fully removed if they have no associated conversions or historical activity that must be preserved for reporting purposes.
