Understanding Reporting in Superfiliate

Last updated: October 29, 2026

The Reporting page allows you to explore detailed data about your creator programs, track conversions, analyze creator performance, and export customized reports.

While Insights provides an overview of your program's performance, Reporting helps you investigate individual records and build more specific analyses.

To get started, navigate to Reporting in your Superfiliate dashboard.

1. Available Reports

Superfiliate offers two main reporting categories:

Report

Description

Conversions

Review attributed orders, conversion statuses, revenue, commissions, and rejection reasons.

Creators (Superfiliates)

Analyze creator information, program participation, referral performance, wallet balances, and social media activity.

You can use the default reports or create customized versions based on your needs.

2. Create a Custom Report

To create a report:

  1. Navigate to Reporting.

  2. Click Create report.

  3. Enter a name under Report title.

  4. Select Conversions or Creators as your template.

  5. Click Create.

  6. Customize your filters and columns, then click Save.

You can also open an existing default report, make adjustments, and select Save as custom report to save a personalized version.

3. Customize Your Reports

Reporting offers several tools to help you focus on the information you need.

  • Period: Select the date range for your analysis.

  • Program / Source: Filter by specific programs or available attribution sources.

  • Creators: Focus on individual creators.

  • Tags: Segment creators using assigned tags.

  • State: Filter conversions by Approved, Rejected, Pending, or Frozen.

  • Enrollment date: Filter creators based on when they joined a program.

  • Advanced filters: Add specific conditions, such as order number, revenue, customer type, or commission.

  • Columns: Choose which information appears in your report.

  • Sort: Organize results in ascending or descending order.

To apply advanced filters:

  1. Click Advanced filters.

  2. Select a property under Choose property.

  3. Choose a condition and enter a value.

  4. Add additional rules if needed.

  5. Click Apply.

Multiple advanced filter rules are combined using AND, meaning records must meet all selected conditions.

Note: Period and Enrollment date serve different purposes. Period controls the reporting window, while Enrollment date identifies creators who joined during a specific timeframe.

4. Understanding Conversion Reports

The Conversions report provides detailed information about transactions attributed to creators.

Key fields include:

Field

Description

Shopify Order Number

Order reference from Shopify.

Creator Name / Email

Creator associated with the conversion.

State

Current conversion status.

Conversion Total

Total attributed order value.

Eligible Conversion Value

Amount eligible for commission calculations, when available.

Commission Approved

Processed commission amount shown in the report.

Commission Pending

Estimated commission for pending conversions.

Rejection Reason

Reason a conversion was rejected.

Return Status

Refund or return status.

Ordered At

Date used by the report's Period filter.

Conversion Statuses

  • Approved: Conversion accepted, although the commission may still be zero.

  • Pending: Conversion awaiting final processing.

  • Rejected: Conversion determined to be ineligible for a reward.

  • Frozen: Conversion held for security checks or review.

A rejected conversion does not necessarily indicate a tracking issue. Rejections may result from program eligibility rules, self-referrals, subscription renewals, or other restrictions.

Important: An approved conversion does not mean the creator has already received payment.

Managing Conversions

When eligible, you can manually approve or reject conversions using the actions available in the conversion row.

For manual rejection, select Reject conversion, choose the appropriate reason, and confirm.

For manual approval of a rejected conversion, select Approve conversion and follow the confirmation steps.

These actions have restrictions and may affect creator rewards. Manual approvals use the original reward configuration, rather than the program's current commission rate.

5. Understanding Creator Reports

The Creators (Superfiliates) report combines creator information with program performance, activity, and rewards.

Available fields may include:

Field

Description

Program name / State

Creator's associated program and enrollment status.

Referral Revenue

Revenue attributed to the creator.

Approved Conversions

Number of accepted conversions.

Rejected Conversions

Qualifying rejected conversions included in the metric.

Return Rate

Refunded value relative to the applicable order value.

Wallet Balance

Creator's current wallet balance.

Redeemed

Rewards or credits redeemed during the applicable reporting period.

Total Clicks

Tracked referral link traffic.

Total Mentions

Captured social media mentions.

Views / EMV

Social media exposure and estimated media value.

Additional fields may be available depending on your integrations and enabled features.

Click on a creator to open their profile and explore more details.

Note: Some creator metrics use processing dates, while others display current balances or accumulated activity. As a result, totals may not always match the Conversions report for the same period.

6. Save and Manage Reports

Custom reports allow you to reuse your preferred filters and configurations.

  • Save: Update your existing custom report.

  • Save as new report: Create a separate version.

  • Rename: Change the report title.

  • Delete: Remove a saved custom report.

Saving a report preserves supported settings, such as filters and column visibility, but does not freeze the underlying data.

Deleting a custom report removes its saved configuration, not the associated creators or conversions.

7. Export Your Reports

You can export your reporting data for further analysis or sharing.

To export:

  1. Open the report you want to export.

  2. Confirm your filters and selected period.

  3. Click Export.

  4. Enter the Report name and Email address.

  5. Click Send to email.

Once processed, you'll receive an email containing a ZIP file with your report in CSV format.

Important:

  • Exports include records matching the applied filters, not just the visible page.

  • Quick-search text is not included in the export filters.

  • The CSV uses a standard set of columns, regardless of which columns are hidden in the dashboard.

  • The export is delivered by email rather than downloaded immediately.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why do Conversions and Creators reports show different totals?

The reports may use different date references and calculation rules. For example, Conversions uses the conversion's Ordered At date, while some creator performance metrics use the processing date.

Why does a rejected conversion still show revenue?

Attributed revenue and commission eligibility are separate. Some automatically rejected conversions may still contribute to referral revenue.

Does Approved mean the creator has been paid?

No. Approval confirms the conversion status, not that a payment has been completed.

Why isn't my search reflected in the exported CSV?

The quick-search field only affects the table view. Use Advanced filters to restrict the exported records.

Why doesn't Wallet Balance change when I select a different period?

Wallet Balance displays the creator's current balance, not a historical balance for the selected reporting period.

Can I update a report after saving it?

Yes. Open a custom report, make your changes, and click Save. You can also create another version using Save as new report.
