Choose where your creator links send shoppers
Last updated: September 17, 2026
Send shoppers to the page that fits your campaign, whether that's a product, collection, or your store's homepage.
A redirect destination is the page shoppers reach after clicking a creator's referral link when your program's Cobranded Landing Page is disabled. You can set a destination for the program or choose a different one for an individual creator.
Changing this setting changes where the referral link takes shoppers. Creators should continue sharing their Superfiliate referral link, rather than the destination address itself.
Choose the right destination option
Where you want shoppers to go | Select | What to enter |
|---|---|---|
A page on the store domain shown in the form | Path on your store | The part after the domain, such as |
A different Shopify domain for the same store, such as a regional storefront | Shopify URL on another domain | The complete address, starting with |
A separate website or a custom storefront that uses a separate checkout | External URL | The complete address, starting with |
If you're unsure how your storefront and checkout are connected, ask your website team or Superfiliate support before choosing an option for another domain.
Path on your store
Use this for pages on the store domain displayed in the form.
The domain is already filled in and can't be edited here. Enter only the page's path, which is the part of its address after the domain:
Homepage:
/All products:
/collections/allA specific collection:
/collections/summerA product:
/products/travel-bag
For example, if the displayed domain is https://www.example.com and the page you want is https://www.example.com/collections/summer, enter /collections/summer.
Keep the starting /. Don't paste the full address into this field or repeat the domain.
This option uses your store's normal discount and tracking setup. Any discount still depends on your program settings and the shopper's eligibility.
Shopify URL on another domain
Use this when shoppers should land on another Shopify domain connected to the same Shopify store, such as a regional storefront.
Enter the full address, for example:
https://de.example.com/collections/summer
Superfiliate attempts to apply the creator's discount through Shopify on that domain before sending the shopper to the page.
Confirm that the domain belongs to the same Shopify store. A similar website name does not establish that connection. A different Shopify store or a website outside Shopify may show an error or fail to apply the discount. Saving the address does not verify that the destination supports this flow.
This option is shown for Shopify-connected stores.
External URL
Use this for a destination on a separate website, including a custom storefront whose website and checkout use different domains.
Enter the full address, for example:
https://shop.example.com/summer
For an external destination:
Superfiliate sends shoppers to the destination without its Shopify discount-application step.
Tracking information is added to the link, but this alone does not guarantee that sales will be credited to the creator.
Your website team needs to check the destination's tracking integration and how discounts will be handled.
For a custom storefront, your website team may need to install and configure the Superfiliate storefront script. Contact Superfiliate support to confirm the setup before sharing the link.
Set the destination for a program
Open the program and go to Settings.
Find Experiences → Cobranded Landing Page.
If the landing page is enabled, edit Status, turn it off, and configure the redirect destination in that form. If it's already disabled, edit Redirect destination.
Choose the destination option and enter the path or full address.
Click Save changes.
Creators using the program's default destination will follow this setting.
If the form offers Replace all redirect destinations for this program, including customized ones, select it only when you also want to replace destinations customized for individual creators. Leave it unchecked to keep those individual settings.
Set a different destination for one creator
Open the creator's profile.
In the overview, find Redirect destination and click its edit icon. This setting is available when the creator's program has its Cobranded Landing Page disabled.
Choose an option, enter the destination, and click Save changes.
This changes that creator's destination without changing the program default.
To make the creator follow the program's destination again, reopen the setting and select Return to default.
Check the link before sharing
Open the creator's referral link, not just the destination URL, and confirm that it reaches the intended page.
For Shopify destinations, check the expected discount with an eligible cart. For an external or custom storefront, confirm tracking and discount handling with your website team or Superfiliate support. A page opening successfully does not confirm that sales tracking is working.
Common questions
Why do some options ask for a path and others for a full address?
With Path on your store, Superfiliate already has the domain, so you only enter the page that follows it. The other options let you choose another domain, so they need the complete address.
What should I enter for my homepage?
Choose Path on your store and enter /.
Why won't my address save?
Check that a store path starts with /, or that a full address starts with https://. Remove spaces and follow the message beneath the input. A full address won't work in the Store path field.
Can I keep tracking parameters or a link to a section of the page?
Yes. Keep those parts of the address, such as /collections/summer?utm_campaign=summer#featured, as long as the destination page supports them.
I don't see these options. What should I do?
Contact Superfiliate support to check which redirect settings are available for your store.
Is this the same as creating an additional link?
This setting controls the destination of the creator's main referral link. To give a creator additional links for other pages, use secondary links.
